For this project, I created two flyers for different situations. The first was for a real event, where I chose a Pilates class at the Houston Zoo called “Zoolates.” The second was a missing person/object flyer for something absurd, so I went with a microscopic creature, the tardigrade (aka a “sea bear”).

This was a lot of fun because I love designing flyers, and it gave me the chance to play around with bright colors and quirky subject matter to make something eye-catching and a little unexpected. It also pushed me to think more intentionally about layout and text hierarchy, making sure everything is clear, readable, and still visually interesting.
